Colette was a normal, twenty-five year old, pretty looking young woman. It was her first day in Paradise University, she was kind of scared and shy but it was her dream to become a professional photographer and it was her opportunity. There were a lot of people, but in her third period were she was supposed to take 20 pictures of what she saw outside the school. Colette decided to take them at the cafeteria because she found it interesting, but while she was taking her last picture of a coffee cup she saw Rodrigo, one of her new classmates. At that moment she felt something special, he was smart and he had brown curly hair, he looked so nice but she didn’t know what to do, she was to sacred to talk to him , that’s why she just ran away…Colette knew he would never be interested in her since he was older than her, he was twenty-eight, the most popular guy and he could get any girl he wanted. So she just decided to keep Rodrigo as her impossible love…The days passed by and Colette continued her life in the University. Of course, loving Rodrigo, until one day Colette had to stay late taking some pictures for her presentation in her Original Photography class. At exactly 7:00 pm she was leaving the school, but she heard a noise on the second floor at the Blue animals photography classroom so she decide to check what was going on. She slowly got closer to the classroom and opened the door. Inside, she saw the classroom a total mess, with paper all over the place and also Rodrigo looking at the window. She just was to scared to said something. But when Colette was leaving the classroom Rodrigo told her to stop, at that moment Colette felt so happy, it was the moment she had been waiting for … He asked Colette to help him in his classes, since he knew she was good at them …From that day, every Monday and Friday at 4:00pm they would eat together while they studied. The months passed by, Colette still loved Rodrigo. One night they were walking at the beach counting the hundreds of stars in the sky. They were tired, so they sat down in the sand, at that moment Rodrigo looked at Colette and grabbed her hands. After a second of quietness Rodrigo asked Colette to be his girlfriend. That was one of the happiest moments for Colette.
When Colette and Rodrigo graduated from Paradise University, they got married and moved to Rainbow city were they bought a six floor yellow house where they lived happily. Every day they walked on the beach with their new brown dog called Cookie, everything was perfect for them, until one day a letter from Spain arrived. It was saying that Rodrigo must go to war. Without having a choice, he left three days later, leaving Colette with tears in her bright brown eyes it was hard for Rodrigo to leave her, he loved her so much, but before he left he promised Colette that he was going go back with her.
Seven years passed and Colette wrote every day to Rodrigo, telling him how much she missed him and also about Monique, their six year old daughter. She would tell him that Monique had his hair, and the same brown eyes as him…she also told him that Monique would turn seven in a month…She would tell him she loved him, that she missed counting the stars with him…With tears in her eyes she was hoping that Rodrigo would answer back but he never did not one letter from him. In six years and eleven months later Colette went to pick up Monique from school. They were going to celebrate Monique’s birthday, as they were walking on the street Colette heard that voice the same voice of six years ago, the same voice that told her to stay when she was leaving the Blue animals photography classroom. She couldn’t believe it was him! Rodrigo. In that moment of happiness they hugged for a long time until Monique asked who he was. He told her, “I’m the person that loves you the most.” As soon as he finished saying that, he took his camera out and told her that he had taken pictures of many things in the world but he needed one more… one of the person he loved the most… so Monique just made a big smile expressing the happiness of having her dad back. After that they went to the beach and walked for a long time like never before… Monique was running trying to reach cookie… while Colette and Rodrigo walked he told her that he did came back and that he loved her too… from that day the three of them count the stars everyday with an smile on their faces knowing that they are all together.
